Cabri G2 Flight Instructor
About the Role
HeliSpeed is recruiting a Guimbal G2 Helicopter Instructor to join our established UK helicopter training operation based at Blackpool Airport. This is a full time role with flexible working and is ideal for an experienced Helicopter Flight Instructor seeking a professional training environment.
The role involves delivering helicopter flight instruction on the Guimbal Cabri G2 across abinitio, commercial pilot, and continuation training courses. Instruction is supported by HeliSpeed’s training platform, TrainTrax® in addition to HeliSpeed Academy FSTD simulator, with full training provided to the successful candidate.
Key Duties
- Deliver helicopter flight instruction on the Guimbal Cabri G2
- Conduct pre flight briefings, airborne instruction, and post flight debriefs
- Support student pilots through licences, ratings, and skill tests
- Use the TrainTrax® system for training records and student management
- Deliver simulator based instruction using the HeliSpeed Academy FSTD
- Support wider HeliSpeed operational activities
- Participate in safety meetings and standardisation activities
Essential Requirements
- Helicopter Flight Instructor rating
- UK CAA helicopter licence
- Current Class 1 medical
- Guimbal Cabri G2 experience or eligibility for type training
- Strong communication skills and a professional safety focused approach
