Setting a New Standard in PPL(H) Training
HeliSpeed has just been featured by RotorHub International, one of the leading helicopter industry publications.
We’ve been approved by the UK Civil Aviation Authority the ability for HeliSpeed students to log simulator training hours towards the requirements for a Private Pilot Licence (H).
This is a first for Europe and a major step forward in pilot training.
What This Means for You
Our FSTD II simulator is now formally recognised by the UK CAA to log hours that count towards PPL(H) qualification.
With this, students can perform real world exercises in a safe training environment, better equipping the students by allowing the ability to familiarise themselves with unideal weather conditions and other unique scenarios before experiencing them in the real aircraft.
